30,000 Celebrated AGF’s Championship Title at Tangkrogen — Victory Delivered the Ultimate Gold Party
On Sunday the 18th of May, 30,000 people gathered at Tangkrogen for a historic celebration of AGF’s Danish championship. The event — “Den Smukkeste Guldfest” (The Most Beautiful Gold Party) — sold out every single ticket and stands as one of the largest live events Aarhus has seen in years.
Victory Event, Stage & Tour produced the event in collaboration with Smuk Event and AGF. Doors opened at 3 PM with a full programme from start to finish. Poet Mads Mygind opened with an original gold poem, before the big screens broadcast AGF’s final match live from Vejlby — complete with line-ups, messages from fans and players, and a nerve-wracking build-up.
When the trophy was lifted in Vejlby, the party on Tangkrogen truly exploded. ROYA and Saint Clara warmed up the crowd, before the AGF players themselves stepped onto the stage with the championship trophy in hand — greeted by a roar that only 30,000 jubilant fans can deliver. Zar Paulo closed the evening with a powerful live concert that was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.
